김원년(Won-Nyeon Kim) 2013 Journal of the Korean Data Analysis Society (August 2013) Vol. 15, No. 4 (B), pp. 2179-2188 1512GI001 https://www.cni.re.kr/main/search/down.do?gcd=AC0000013610&seq=1 본 연구에서는 대중국 축산물 및 수산물의 수입수요를 분석하여 가격탄력성, 소득탄력성을 추정하였다. 추정을 위해 우리나라 통계청과 한국무역학회의 자료를 활용하였으며, 분석방법은 ARCH 모형을 이용하였다. 탄력성 추정결과 중국 축산물의 수입수요 가격탄력성은 -0.27, 소득탄력성은 1.35로 추정되었으며, 수산물의 경우 가격탄력성은 -1.01, 소득탄력성은 1.08로 추정되었다. 이는 대중국 축산물의 수입가격이 10% 증가하면 대중국 축산물의 국내수요가 2.7%감소하고, 소득이 10%증가하면 수요가 13.5% 증가하며, 대중국 수산물의 수입가격이 10% 증가하면 대중국 수산물의 국내수요가 10.1% 감소하고, 소득이 10% 증가하면 수요가 10.8% 증가함을 의미한다. 중국 축산물과 수산물은 모두 가격이 증가하면 수요가 감소하고 국민소득이 증가하면 수요가 증가하는 것으로 분석되어 모두 정상재로 구분할 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to estimate the import demand elasticities of livestock and marine products imported form China. The data of the Statistics Korea and KITA (Korea International Trade Association) were used for the analysis and the ARCH regression model was used for the estimate. The results show that: (1) The expenditure elasticity for the livestock products imported from China is 1.35 and the own price elasticity is -0.27. (2) The expenditure elasticity for the marine products imported form China is 1.08 and the own price elasticity is -1.01. These results mean that if the price of livestock products increases 10%, the demand for livestock products will decrease 2.7% and if the average monthly expenditure increases 10%, the demand for livestock products will increase 13.5%. If the price of marine products also increases 10%, the demand for marine products will decrease 10.1% and if the average monthly expenditure increases 10%, the demand for marine products will increase 10.8%. We can know the own price elasticities are all negative.
