유류사고 피해지역 수산물에 대한 소비자 인식 연구, A Study on Consumer perception about seafood of Hebei Spirit Oil Spill Incident Area

Abstract

This study is aimed to retain objectivity and generality against consumer perception about seafood of Hebei Spirit oil spill incident area, and analyze gap of consumer perception in according to confidence level of seafood using ordinal logit model. As results, This article have three implications. First, Consumer don’t have high confidence level in comparison with previous research. Second, It is important to retain confidence of quality for purchasing seafood of oil spill incident area. Third, Consumer perception is improved positively against seafood of oil spill area. But This study has limits that don’t take regional opinion and situation into account. Ⅰ. 서 론 충남은 리아스식 해안선(1,242km)과 세계 최대의 갯벌(357㎢), 268개의 도서(섬)로 구성된 해양 지자체로서 옛 부터 수산업이 크게 발달한 지역 이다. 충남은 바지락, 굴, 전복, 해삼, 조피볼락, 붕장어, 낙지 등의 수산물을 생산하며, 갯벌을 이용한 마을어업과 연안 어선어업이 발달한 지역이 다(Kim Jong-Hwa, 2013). 또 충남의 서해안은 국내 유일의 해안국립공원, 대규모 철새 도래지가 위치해 있고, 다양한 어족자원이 서식하고 있어 생태학적으로도 매우 중요한 가치를 지니고 있다. 그러나 2007년 12월 7일 태안, 서산, 보령 등 충남 서해안 일대의 허베이 스피리트호 사건이 발생하여 약 12,547kl(1만 900톤)의 유류가 유출 되었고, 태안을 비롯한 인근 시·군의 해안 약 70.1㎞에 유류가 유입되었다(Park Soon-Yawl & Hong Deok-Hwa, 2010). 이 사건으로 충남뿐만 아니라 전남까지 피해를 입었으며, 양식장 34,314ha, 해안선 1,218.3㎞, 해수욕장 15개소, 음식ᆞ숙박업소 7,200여개소가 피해를 입었다(Park Soon-Yawl & Hong Deok-Hwa, 2010). 또한 어업 관련 피해에서도 충남도 피해대책위원회에 신고된 건수가 57,781건으로 전체(70,969건)의 약 81.4%를 차지할 정도로 수산분야의 피해가 커 지역 산업·경제에 막대한 피해를 입혔다(Park Soon-Yawl & Hong Deok-Hwa, 2010).
